How it works

From applying to your first day

  1. Send your application

    Fill in the form with your trade, your experience and your DNI or NIE. Five minutes from your phone.

  2. We review your profile

    We check your documentation and your PRL (Spanish health-and-safety training). If anything is missing, we tell you exactly what.

  3. We assign you to a site

    When work in your trade comes up, we call you with the address, the hours and the expected duration.

  4. You clock in from the app

    You scan the QR code on your way in and on your way out. Your hours are recorded and your payslips are in the app.

The worker app

Your working day, your payslips and your documents on your phone

No paper timesheets and no ringing the office to ask for a payslip. Everything you need is in the app, and it works even when the site has no signal.

  • QR clock-in In and out in two taps. If there is no signal, it is saved and sent as soon as you get one.
  • Your calendar of hours Check the hours for each day and for the month, and ask for a correction if something does not add up.
  • Payslips and documents Download them whenever you need them, without having to ask.
  • Expiry alerts We warn you before your PRL training or your medical fitness certificate expires.
  • Chat with the office Talk to your foreman or to the administration team from the app itself.

Your location is read only when you clock in or out, to confirm that you are on the site. Working-time records are kept for four years, as RD-ley 8/2019 (the Spanish decree on mandatory daily working-time records) requires.

How to get it

The app is only for JOB & SKILLED staff. You do not need to download it now: when your application is successful, we send you the installation link and your log-in details along with your onboarding paperwork.

The app is not published on Google Play yet. Once it is, add the URL to company.app.android in src/lib/site.ts and these buttons appear on their own.

Referral programme

Refer a good tradesperson and earn on their hours

The best way we have of finding people who know how to work is to ask the people who already know how to work. Refer someone to us and, if they end up on one of our sites, you earn for every hour they work.

    Ask us for your code If you already work with us, you have a personal code. If you do not yet, we give you one when you join.

    They enter it when they apply All they have to do is type your code in the “Referral code” field on the application form.

    You earn on the hours they work Once they join and start working, you are paid an amount for every hour they record.
Apply

Send us your application

We keep your profile even if there is no vacancy in your trade today, and we let you know when one comes up. You can apply even if you are missing a document: we will tell you what you need.

  • A contract and registration with the Seguridad Social (Spanish social security)
  • Terms under the Convenio de la Construcción (the Spanish construction collective agreement)
  • Free to apply — we never charge the worker
  • Your data is processed under the GDPR

We need it to register you with Social Security. The check digit is validated.

Required before your first day on site; you can leave it for later.

Frequently asked questions from professionals

Do I have to pay anything to register?

No. Registering and using the app are free for the worker. We will never ask you for money in exchange for a job.

What documentation do I need?

A valid DNI or NIE, your Seguridad Social number, PRL training appropriate to your trade and, depending on the job, a medical fitness assessment. If you are missing the PRL, we tell you which course you need before you can go on site.

Will you register me with the Seguridad Social?

Yes. You will be employed by JOB AND SKILLED, S.L., registered with the authorities, and on the terms of the Convenio de la Construcción that correspond to your grade.

Can I work as a self-employed autónomo?

It is a possibility we are looking at with employment-law advice, and we do not offer it yet. Today the route is an employment contract.

How are my hours recorded?

With a QR code on the site. Scanning it records the time and the location. That record is the one used for your payslip, and you can consult it from the app at any time. It is the daily working-time record required by RD-ley 8/2019.

Does the app track my location all day?

No. Your location is read only at the moment you clock in and clock out, to confirm that you are clocking on the site. There is no continuous tracking, and we give you written information about this processing before your first day.

Which languages can I use the app in?

Spanish, with English and Romanian coming soon. If you need help with your application, say so on the form and we will call you.
